Business Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Partnering with teams across the company, the full-time Business Automation Engineer will identify and automate manual processes, leveraging both off-the-shelf products and custom code to enhance operational efficiency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities
• Design, build, and deploy automations across various SaaS tools, internal systems, and APIs
• Implement secure practices in automation development, including access controls and sensitive information handling

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building integrations or automations in a business or operations context
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or general-purpose programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Go)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on experience with workflow or integration platforms (e.g., Workato, Zapier)
• Proactive approach to translating business processes into effective automations
