Business Continuity Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Business Continuity Consultant for a fully remote, 14-month contract role, responsible for developing and implementing business continuity programs, evaluating risks, and performing periodic testing of plans to ensure operational resilience against disasters and cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains business continuity plans and strategies for critical functions during emergencies
- Evaluates and improves business continuity plans and conducts research on best practices for risk management
- Performs periodic testing and validation of business continuity plans to ensure effective recovery from disruptions
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business continuity and risk assessment execution
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
- Working knowledge of an enterprise GRC tool, preferably Archer
- BCM certification (CBCP, MBCI, or CBCI) strongly preferred
- Experience in the financial services or regulated industry, with knowledge of relevant compliance requirements
