Business Controller

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the remote Business Controller will manage financial planning, performance analysis, and decision support for commercial and operating leaders, focusing on annual budgeting, forecasting processes, and financial performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasting processes, including scenario modeling and P&L forecasting
• Build and maintain revenue models, tracking key metrics such as ARR, retention, churn, and bookings
• Deliver financial performance analysis versus budget and forecast, identifying key business drivers and opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or a comparable finance role, preferably in an international organization
• Experience in a software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue business, with knowledge of metrics like ARR and churn
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, along with working SQL knowledge
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system, ideally Oracle Fusion, and knowledge of accounting principles under US GAAP or IFRS
