Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the remote Business Controller will manage financial planning, performance analysis, and decision support for commercial and operating leaders, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in a part-time, salaried capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes, including scenario modeling and P&L forecasting
- Build and maintain revenue models and track key metrics such as ARR, retention, and churn
- Deliver financial performance analysis and prepare executive reporting for senior leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or a comparable finance role
- Experience within a software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue business
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills, along with working SQL knowledge
- Hands-on experience with an ERP system, ideally Oracle Fusion, and knowledge of accounting principles under US GAAP or IFRS
