Business Development Associate

Job Summary

To support business growth, the full-time remote Business Development Associate will build relationships with state agencies, develop knowledge of procurement schedules, and manage national partner accounts while sourcing opportunities and qualifying proposals.

Key responsibilities:

• Build working relationships with Medicaid, Health and Human Services, and vendor partners in the assigned territory
• Develop in-depth knowledge of procurement schedules and maintain partnership plans for national prime partner accounts
• Source and qualify opportunities through state procurement portals and maintain accurate CRM data for the territory

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 1 year of experience in government procurement or business development
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Comfort with negotiating routine and complex subcontract terms
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities under time-sensitive conditions
