Business Financial Manager
Job Summary
To support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), the full-time remote Business Financial Manager will manage program budgets, perform financial analysis, and ensure compliance with federal regulations while collaborating with Program Managers and external partners.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Program Managers in developing and executing program budgets, including forecasting and tracking expenditures
- Prepare and manage financial documents such as contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements
- Analyze financial data to identify risks and opportunities, while preparing reports for stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience supporting a DARPA Technical Office in a BFM role
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in federal government financial management, preferably in R&D
- Strong understanding of Federal financial regulations and accounting principles
- Experience with OTAs, grants, contracts, and financial modeling tools
