Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the remote Business Intelligence Analyst will gather business requirements, design and develop dashboards using Amazon QuickSight and Microsoft Power BI, and ensure data accuracy across reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to extract and translate business requirements into technical specifications and define KPIs
- Design and build interactive dashboards, optimize performance, and migrate reports across AWS and Azure environments
- Validate data accuracy, document metadata, and train users on dashboard navigation and data insights
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst with a proven track record in requirement-gathering workshops
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
- Deep expertise in AWS QuickSight and strong SQL skills for complex queries
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including star and snowflake schemas
- Exceptional analytical mindset with clear communication skills for explaining data to non-technical peers
