Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary
To support NAVSUP Business Systems Center, the full-time salaried Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with data owners and engineers to enhance enterprise data cataloging, metadata management, and data quality within an AWS GovCloud environment while validating data lineage and documenting results.
Key responsibilities
- Profile prioritized datasets and develop data-quality rules, scorecards, and thresholds
- Analyze data-quality issues, document root causes, and track remediation actions in Azure DevOps
- Create governance and quality reports, dashboards, and maintain training materials throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience with Power BI and hands-on data profiling, data-quality rules, and metadata management
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational data, data warehouses, and ETL concepts
- Ability to analyze data issues and document findings for both technical and business stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship and ability to complete Navy onboarding and background investigation requirements
