Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting NAVSUP's data governance initiatives, the full-time salaried Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate with data stakeholders to profile datasets, establish quality rules, validate metadata, and document findings in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Profile prioritized datasets and develop data-quality rules, scorecards, and baselines
- Analyze data-quality issues, document root causes, and track remediation actions in Azure DevOps
- Develop and maintain business glossaries, data domains, and governance policies in collaboration with data owners
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of Power BI experience and hands-on experience with data profiling and data governance
- Working knowledge of SQL, data warehouses, and ETL concepts
- Ability to analyze data issues and document test evidence for technical and business stakeholders
- U.S. citizenship and ability to complete Navy onboarding and background investigation requirements
