Business Intelligence Architect
Job Summary
Owning the Looker semantic layer and BI platform provisioning, the full-time Business Intelligence Architect II will design external client-facing BI access while providing technical direction and mentorship for BI developers and analysts in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Looker semantic layer, including model files and metric definitions per business domain
- Manage BI platform provisioning, including Looker instance configuration and connection management against Snowflake
- Design and govern external client-facing BI access, ensuring data isolation and compliance with security policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; demonstrated capability is prioritized over credentials
- 7 to 10 years of experience in business intelligence or data platform work, with strong hands-on Looker/LookML and SQL/dbt expertise
- Deep experience in structuring LookML projects and designing semantic layers
- Experience with multi-tenant BI access and row-level security
- Knowledge of healthcare or regulated-data environments is a plus
