Job Summary
Transforming complex data into scalable analytical solutions, the full-time remote Business Intelligence Data Modeler will design, build, and optimize data models and semantic layers for enterprise reporting and analytics.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain various data models, including star and snowflake schemas, to support analytical needs
- Translate business requirements into reusable data models and develop Power BI dashboards and reports
- Implement data security and governance practices while optimizing model performance and ensuring data quality
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data modeling, or data analytics
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query/M, and SQL
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses or data lakes and integrating data from various sources
- Knowledge of data quality, testing, security, and governance practices
