Job Summary
To support the analytics department, the full-time remote Senior Business Intelligence Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of reporting applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring data integrity and security.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of Business Intelligence applications, including upgrades and security management
- Lead design sessions to capture requirements for report development and ensure compliance with user needs across functional areas
- Develop and implement complex dashboard reports and visualizations, as well as provide training and support for reporting tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's degree preferred
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or IBM Cognos
- Background in higher education or healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile
- In-depth knowledge of SQL programming and experience in Oracle on Unix DBMS environment preferred
