Business Intelligence Engineer
Job Summary
To support an established organization in the travel and hospitality industry, the fully remote Business Intelligence Engineer III will design scalable reporting solutions, develop impactful dashboards, and transform complex data into actionable business insights using Power BI and advanced data modeling techniques.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Create and maintain semantic models, data structures, and datasets for consistent self-service analytics
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Advanced expertise with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX
- Strong proficiency with SQL and experience building scalable semantic data models
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and independently drive projects from requirements gathering through delivery
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, version control tools (Git/GitHub), and familiarity with AI/ML concepts
