Job Summary
To support the development of a new Data Engineering team, the full-time BI & Analytics Engineer will own the University's Power BI environment, build trusted data models in Snowflake using dbt, and deliver clear reports while collaborating with stakeholders remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the University's Power BI environment, including report lifecycle and permissions
- Build and maintain accurate dashboards and reports for various operational and leadership needs
- Scope requests with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure effective report usage
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or related data roles
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and troubleshooting
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including fact and dimension tables
