Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Business Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and maintain advanced BI reports and dashboards while optimizing database structures and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Designs and maintains BI reports and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS
- Optimizes database structures and writes complex SQL queries to enhance performance and scalability
- Collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective BI solutions, while mentoring Business Intelligence Analysts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or related role
- Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL, including complex query writing and optimizing database performance
- Experience with cloud-based data analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
