Business Loan Specialist

Job Summary

Assisting the Lending Division with outstanding customer service, the full-time salaried VP, Business Loan Specialist will manage loan applications, consult with applicants on their financial needs, and cross-sell company products while maintaining communication throughout the application process.

Key responsibilities

• Contact referrals and advise customers on application status and necessary actions
• Prescreen and process loan applications accurately, ensuring timely updates and communication with clients
• Cross-sell additional Newtek products and services to enhance customer partnerships and support business growth

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• 1-4 years of customer service experience, preferably in sales or lending
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Familiarity with financial reports, such as business and personal tax returns and cash flow projections
• Intermediate computer and phone skills, with the ability to multitask across various applications
