Business Process Engineer
Job Summary
To support the implementation of a modernized financial and budget application for a federal client, the full-time remote Business Process Engineer will lead business process discovery and design activities, analyze existing processes, and create optimized workflows and service blueprints for effective platform configuration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business process discovery and design activities through stakeholder interviews and collaborative sessions
- Analyze and document current-state business processes while designing optimized future-state workflows
- Develop detailed service blueprints and workflow models to guide platform development teams
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Business Process Engineering, Service Design, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience designing future-state business processes and workflow-driven solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with business process models, workflow diagrams, and service blueprints
- Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) or similar methodologies
- Ability to facilitate process-discovery and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders
