Business Systems Analyst
Job Summary
To support a temporary project, the remote 1099 contract Business Systems Analyst will gather and document business requirements, engage with insurance carriers, and translate those requirements into technical specifications for the engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and document complex configuration data sets to deliver business requirements
- Engage stakeholders at insurance carriers to document key scope decisions for assigned projects
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the engineering team
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in insurance, financial services, or SaaS
- Experience in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to interpret and organize complex product configuration data sets
- Familiarity with policy administration systems or underwriting workflows is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
