Business Systems Analyst Consultant
Job Summary
To support business analysis in a finance/accounting environment, the full-time remote Business Systems Analyst Consultant will lead requirements gathering, represent business stakeholders in vendor discussions, and support accounting transformations and system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview stakeholders to identify current-state finance workflows and review related processes
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, document business requirements, and gain sign-off from stakeholders
- Support accounting transformations and system implementations, including process documentation and user acceptance testing
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- 5-10 years of Business Systems Analysis experience with ownership of BA work in a finance/accounting context
- Strong finance knowledge and working knowledge of GAAP standards
- Experience with core accounting processes and supporting system implementations
- Demonstrated ability to represent business users to vendors or technical teams, clarifying business needs
