Business Systems Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for leading and mentoring a distributed team of developers, the full-time Business Systems Engineering Manager will provide hands-on technical contributions in Salesforce and MuleSoft, set technical direction, and manage the team's roadmap for capability development in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a hands-on technical contributor in Salesforce and MuleSoft, reviewing code and providing database administration support
- Set technical direction and best practices for development and integration architecture across Salesforce, NetSuite, and data platforms
- Lead and manage a team of developers, including hiring, performance management, and career development
Required qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience as a Salesforce developer, including custom development and complex integrations
- Hands-on database administration skills across relational databases, with a preference for Databricks experience
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring a team of developers in a player-coach capacity
- Experience with modern code generation tools such as Github CoPilot or VsCode
- Ability to manage personal development/story work alongside team leadership responsibilities
