Buyer Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for negotiating and maintaining optimal pricing for new and recurring items, the full-time remote Buyer Analyst will manage supplier relationships, conduct technical reviews, and ensure compliance with government standards.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with suppliers and maintain supply chain redundancy to achieve best cost and quality
• Continuously improve costs and drive down supply lead times while managing workload for assigned commodities
• Review and monitor inventory levels, performing forecast analysis based on sales history and customer demand

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of procurement experience
• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain, including military personnel with relevant training
• Excellent negotiating skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and drawings
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software, with proficiency in JDEdwards EnterpriseOne preferred
