C/C++ Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large-scale code reorganization project, the fully remote Mid/Senior C/C++ Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing client requirements, participating in technical discussions, and developing YANG-based mappings for OpenConfig models, while collaborating with a global team.
Key responsibilities
- Research and define optimal implementations of client requirements and ideas
- Write and unit-test YANG-based mappings, conduct code reviews, and create documentation
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to understand YANG language and seek reviews of new mappings
Required qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C programming with experience in analyzing and refactoring existing codebases
- Familiarity with YANG data modeling and hierarchical data schemas
- Solid grasp of core L2/L3 networking fundamentals
- Experience in Linux development and scripting, including intermediate Python skills
