C# Developer II
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time C# Developer II will perform technical planning, software systems integration, and back-end application development using C# and .Net technologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical planning and requirements definition, including test planning and execution
- Develop and maintain back-end applications using C# and .Net Core, ensuring software performance and quality
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to document software designs and implement Agile practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least five years of experience in software development
- Expertise in .Net framework, C#, and back-end application development using MVC architecture
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, as well as version control systems like GIT
