Job Summary
Designing and developing high-quality software, the full-time C Software Developer will work in a hybrid environment, primarily focusing on a core code base in C and some Java, while collaborating with stakeholders to meet functional requirements and ensuring quality through testing.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software within deadlines, adhering to R&D best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and R&D standards
- Own the full software lifecycle, including support for internal and external users
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years of software development experience in C and familiarity with Java
- Proficient in source control management, including Git and Gerrit
- Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows; MVS experience a plus
- General knowledge of software development tools, methodologies, and principles
