C Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working fully remote, the Mid/Senior C Software Engineer will engage in low-level programming tasks, including implementing client requirements, participating in technical discussions, and writing YANG-based mappings for OpenConfig models.
Key responsibilities
- Research and define optimal implementations for client requirements and ideas
- Write and unit-test YANG-based mappings, conduct code reviews, and create documentation
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to understand YANG language and participate in technical pre-sales meetings
Required qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C programming with experience in analyzing and refactoring C codebases
- Familiarity with YANG data modeling and hierarchical data schemas
- Solid understanding of core L2/L3 networking fundamentals
- Experience in Linux development environments and intermediate Python scripting skills
