CAD Designer III

Job Summary

Leading CAD development for complex pump and electromechanical products, the full-time remote Designer III (CAD) will establish drafting standards, mentor junior designers, and ensure high-quality design documentation while collaborating with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead CAD development activities and create sophisticated assemblies and manufacturing drawings
• Establish and maintain CAD modeling standards while ensuring compliance with international drawing standards
• Mentor junior designers and support new product development and engineering projects

Required qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• 8+ years of progressively responsible CAD design and mechanical drafting experience
• 3+ years of experience in electromechanical product design
• 3+ years of experience leading complex design documentation efforts
• Solidworks Professional Administrator CPAP certification or 5+ years of equivalent experience in PDM Administration
