CAD Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the CAD Engineer will analyze proprietary CADAM files, extract engineering data, and develop methodologies for data retention during conversion processes.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and understand proprietary CADAM files and related engineering documentation
- Extract component, assembly, and attribute information from CADAM drawings while maintaining hierarchical relationships
- Identify and map CAD entities, blocks, attributes, and assembly relationships to corresponding BOM specifications
Required qualifications
- Experience with CADAM files and engineering documentation
- Proficiency in data extraction and conversion methodologies
- Knowledge of engineering data structures and BOM specifications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Contract work availability for a duration of 2 months with potential for hire
