CAD Technician
Job Summary
To elevate design careers, a remote contract CAD Technician will maintain plant drawing management, create detailed drawing packages, and interface with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing equipment design and facility improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain complete ownership of plant drawing management, ensuring accurate version control and organization
- Create and update detailed drawing packages, including electrical diagrams and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to design equipment and assist with equipment troubleshooting
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo
- Experience with PDM systems, specifically Windchill
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
