CAD Technician
Job Summary
To elevate design careers within a global manufacturing innovator, the remote contract CAD Technician will manage plant drawing documentation, create detailed drawing packages, and collaborate with engineering teams to support equipment design and facility improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain ownership of plant drawing management, ensuring accurate version control and organization
- Create and update detailed drawing packages, including electrical diagrams and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to design equipment and support facility improvement projects
Required qualifications
- Associate degree in a relevant technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Experience with Creo cabling and PDM systems
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
