Job Summary
Joining a dynamic Survey & Geomatics team, the remote CAD Technician I will create, collect, analyze, and validate enterprise asset data while preparing boundary surveys and topographic maps to meet customer requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily field data using Trimble Business Center and convert data between various spatial formats
- Prepare deliverables such as highway right-of-way maps, ALTA boundary surveys, and topographical surfaces from field data
- Research and interpret government files and public documentation to produce accurate maps and survey reports
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center
- Experience using MicroStation with GeoPak and/or OpenRoads
- GIS-related experience is a plus
- Licensed Surveyor in Training (L.S.I.T) Certificate is a plus
- Ability to read highway plans, plats, and deeds effectively
