California and Oregon Licensed Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing California and Oregon workers' compensation claims remotely, the full-time Senior Claims Specialist will investigate claims, determine compensability, negotiate settlements, and develop strategies for effective claim resolution while working Pacific Time Zone hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution
• Analyze claim facts to evaluate coverage, compensability, and benefits eligibility
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve timely and favorable claim outcomes

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of workers' compensation claims adjusting experience, with California experience required
• Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations; Oregon knowledge preferred
• Professional industry designations such as Associate in Claims (AIC) are preferred
• Ability to work Pacific Time Zone business hours and travel occasionally as needed
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various internal and external contacts
