Job Summary
To support the financial leadership of a healthcare organization, the remote California Chief Financial Officer will manage financial activities, oversee budget preparation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while residing in California.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees the preparation and compliance of annual operating and capital budgets using a zero-based budgeting approach
- Directs financial reporting, analysis, and cash flow projections to support organizational objectives
- Negotiates and monitors government contracts and ensures adherence to financial policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- At least four years of experience as a CFO in a health maintenance organization or eight years as a controller in the same field
- Four years of financial experience with Medi-Cal or other government entitlement programs
- Four years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
