Job Summary
Supporting the Export Compliance and Licensing team, the full-time California Export Compliance Specialist will manage export license applications, ensure compliance with U.S. government regulations, and conduct training across the organization while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare export license applications and support U.S. facilities with the U.S. Customs ACE Portal System
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, OFAC, EAR, and Census regulations while identifying and correcting compliance gaps
- Draft and implement Technology Control Plans and review export-related contractual terms and conditions
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a Business Discipline
- 5+ years of experience working for an ITAR registered defense contractor
- Minimum of 5 years as an Empowered Official (22 C.F.R. 120.62)
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
