Job Summary
Providing critical operational and promotional support, the per diem California Field Sales Specialist will manage sample deliveries, engage with school sites, assist at conferences, and support district pilot setups while working remotely on an as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver print samples and promotional materials directly to County Offices of Education and school districts
- Conduct drop-ins at middle and high schools to engage with department heads and principals
- Assist with the setup and tear-down of exhibition booths at statewide and regional conferences
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in K-12 education, educational sales support, or field marketing within the EdTech/publishing industry
- Familiarity with the California public school system and ELA/ELD instructional terminology
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance
- Ability to lift and transport boxes weighing up to 35-40 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and full days during multi-day educational conferences
