California Government Contracts Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Contracts Analyst, the remote position will manage the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of government contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting the organization's mission in transportation decarbonization.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex government contracts and subcontracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including implementation, monitoring, amendments, and closeout
• Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory requirements and partner with internal teams to support contract terms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, law, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred
• 3 to 5 years of experience in government contract and subcontract management, with expertise in federal compliance (FAR, CFR)
• Experience with California state agency contracts is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a proven ability to manage complex agreements
