California HR Manager Consultant

Job Summary

Providing comprehensive HR support to various clients, the full-time California HR Manager Consultant will collaborate with organizations to address HR needs, ensure compliance with employment laws, and develop tailored HR policies while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique HR requirements and provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and benefits
• Develop and implement tailored HR policies and procedures aligned with clients' objectives and legal requirements
• Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievances, while conducting investigations and providing recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
• Expertise in California employment laws required
• Proven experience in HR consulting or generalist roles, preferably serving multiple clients
