California IP Docketing Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a California IP Docketing Specialist with over 3 years of experience in U.S. and/or Foreign patent prosecution docketing, this part-time position offers a remote/hybrid work arrangement, where the specialist will manage the maintenance of accurate databases for client patent matters and collaborate closely with IP attorneys and business services professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Review incoming client mail to determine and enter due dates into the docket databases
- Process and communicate docketing information to relevant parties while ensuring daily due dates are met
- Update docket databases regularly and assist in verifying the accuracy of entries made by other specialists
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of comprehensive U.S. and/or Foreign patent prosecution docketing experience
- Thorough knowledge of procedures and practices before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Experience with docketing software such as CPI, Inprotech, or Foundation IP
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
