Job Summary
Overseeing leave requests and accommodations, the temporary Leave & Accommodation Specialist will manage FMLA and ADA cases, ensuring compliance and effective communication with employees and managers in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Administers the FMLA leave process, including eligibility determination and paperwork management
- Maintains communication with employees on leave to facilitate their return to work and advises on leave laws and benefits
- Handles accommodation requests under the ADA and manages other company time-off programs as assigned
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
- 3+ years' experience in Human Resources with a focus on leave of absences
- Expert knowledge of leave administration and related laws
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office products
- CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
