Job Summary
Providing accounting and advisory services to nonprofit clients, the full-time California Licensed Accounting Advisor will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close and financial reporting, while working remotely and supporting multiple client engagements.
Key responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day accounting operations for nonprofit clients, including month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Perform fund accounting and assist with grant and donor reporting
- Prepare and review financial reports, and support year-end accounting and audit preparation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or CAAS
- Hands-on nonprofit accounting experience, including knowledge of nonprofit-specific financial reporting
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, including contribution and grant accounting
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct
