Job Summary
Leading the accounting function across multiple revenue-generating entities, the full-time California Licensed Accounting Director will ensure operational excellence, strong financial controls, and timely reporting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle general ledger with a focus on revenue recognition and accounts receivable
- Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and maintain SOX-related controls
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- CPA required
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting
- Experience with NetSuite required
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and revenue accounting
