California Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time salaried California Licensed Accounting Manager will oversee the monthly close process, manage audit relationships, and ensure compliance with SaaS accounting standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation and multi-entity consolidation
• Manage the annual financial statement audit and coordinate with external tax firms for compliance and reporting
• Lead process improvement initiatives and manage a remote accounting team to enhance efficiency and automation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a SaaS or software company
• Advanced QuickBooks Online experience, including multi-entity and multi-currency setups
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Experience managing external financial statement audits as the primary point of contact
