California Licensed Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Accounting Manager, the full-time remote position will manage the Corporate Finance team's day-to-day activities, oversee full cycle accounting processes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while fostering team development.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day activities of the Corporate Finance Team and support the Assistant Controller
- Manage full cycle accounting processes, including month-end journal entries and financial statement analysis
- Coordinate with external partners for financial reporting and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel
