Job Summary
To lead an undergraduate accounting program, the full-time remote California Licensed Accounting Professor and Academic Program Director will manage program strategy and operations, teach online or onsite courses, and collaborate with faculty to enhance student engagement and success.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the strategy and operations of the accounting degree program, ensuring quality and compliance with accreditation standards
- Teach and develop courses in accounting while maintaining pedagogical expertise and creating an inclusive learning environment
- Engage in scholarly activities and participate in curriculum oversight and shared governance to promote program outreach and university goals
Required qualifications
- Terminal degree (DBA, Ph.D.) in accounting or a related discipline
- Certifications in accounting or a related field, such as CPA or CMA
- 5+ years of full-time faculty higher education teaching experience
- 5+ years of practical experience in accounting
- Experience with online delivery of higher education
