California Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Associate Attorney, the full-time position in San Diego will focus on civil litigation, including personal injury and insurance defense, while providing opportunities for professional growth and hands-on experience in case management, depositions, and court appearances in a primarily remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case strategies and independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff at all experience levels while maintaining professional communication with clients
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team growth and success

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active bar license in the state of California
• 1-8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy and trial preparation
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial
• Prior insurance defense experience preferred
