California Licensed Associate Broker

Job Summary

To support a growing brokerage, the full-time California Licensed Associate Broker will ensure quality control of client files, draft submissions to underwriters, and actively pursue new business opportunities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensures quality control across all files by scrutinizing policies and documentation for accuracy and adherence to guidelines
• Drafts error-free submissions to communicate coverage terms and negotiates pricing and coverage with underwriters
• Develops and maintains relationships with clients and underwriters to enhance revenue growth and policy retention

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Risk Management preferred
• 1 year of experience in wholesale brokerage, commercial insurance coverages, sales, or underwriting preferred
• Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) preferred
