Key responsibilities
- Facilitate business objectives by providing timely legal support to minimize exposure and risk
- Research and interpret mortgage servicing laws to ensure compliance with documentation and processes
- Partner with internal teams to address documentation questions and implement regulatory changes
Required qualifications
- Law degree required and admitted to practice law in the US
- 1-3 years of professional experience in mortgage servicing regulations and compliance
- Direct experience with Regulation X (RESPA) and Regulation Z (TILA)
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
