California Licensed Associate Director

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive California Licensed Associate Director to lead the Utility Rate Group in a full-time remote or onsite role, responsible for delivering complex consulting services, managing client engagements, and driving business development efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans, monitoring financial and operational performance while recommending corrective actions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify opportunities for revenue growth and support business development activities
• Oversee client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective management of project budgets and timelines

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in utility rate studies, cost-of-service analyses, or related public financial consulting services
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with complex financial models
• Strong understanding of California Proposition 218 and utility rate-setting requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members effectively
• Ability to contribute to business development efforts and manage client relationships
