Job Summary

Supervising the oncology authorization team, the full-time California Licensed Benefits Supervisor will manage daily activities related to authorization requests and financial clearance, ensuring timely patient treatment and collaboration with clinical staff in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the oncology authorization team to ensure timely completion of authorization requests
• Oversee prior authorization processes and manage escalated cases, ensuring timely resolution of payer issues
• Conduct staff coaching and workflow reviews to drive accountability and meet departmental performance goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of healthcare prior authorization or revenue cycle experience preferred
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Extensive knowledge of medical oncology treatment regimens and payer authorization requirements
• Experience managing prior authorization workflows and proven ability to reduce authorization-related denials
