California Licensed Billing Director

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing billing and collections activities, the full-time California Licensed Billing Director will manage insurance and self-pay accounts receivable, ensure billing compliance, and collaborate with various departments to enhance revenue cycle workflows in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage billing operations and follow-up activities for all retained billing offices
• Drive operational excellence and achieve Professional Billing A/R goals
• Collaborate with clinics and operational leaders to optimize financial performance and ensure regulatory compliance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Public Administration, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in accounts receivable management
• 8 years of leadership experience
• 5 years of experience in medical revenue cycle management
• 3 years of executive-level relationship management experience
