Job Summary
To support innovative cancer research, the full-time California Licensed Biostatistician will engage in clinical trial design and analysis, contribute to publications and grant applications, and collaborate with clinical leaders, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead clinical study design and analysis for trials, resulting in high-quality presentations and publications
- Collaborate with faculty to establish a publication and funding track record, co-authoring papers and protocols
- Develop and evaluate statistical methodologies and tools while maintaining knowledge of advancements in the field
Required qualifications
- Doctorate in applied biostatistics/statistics or a similar field with a demonstrable record of accomplishments
- 1-3 years of experience in designing and/or analyzing clinical trials, or relevant doctoral coursework for recent graduates
- Excellent computing skills and a publication record in self-directed and collaborative research
- High energy and enthusiasm for oncology clinical research with the ability to manage multiple collaborations
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive professional relationships across disciplines
